Signs of Life

I went outside this morning to water the grass and to my surprise....there was little baby grass growing throughout the backyard! I got so excited!!!! I have been doing exactly what the Lawn Doctor told me to do and it's working!!! Oh I can't wait until our whole backyard is full of beautiful, lush grass!

Favorite Sports Team!

Today is Favorite Sports Team day at school. The kids got to wear whatever jersey or anything showing what their favorite team is. Caiti -of course- chose to wear her Chargers jersey! Now, I'm not sure if she chose it because it is in fact her favorite or just because that's the only jersey she owns, ha ha! She did try to look for her Stafford Tigers jersey but I think she outgrew it so it's in a box.

Go Chargers! :)

Kraft Sizzling Salads

Looking for a dinner that is fresh and tasty? I recommend Kraft Sizzling Salads. This Tuscan one is the one we tried tonight and it was absolutely delicious!!! I served it with noodles and brocolli (along with a side salad). The noodles were for the kids but with the salad, chicken & brocolli (not mixed together--you can if you want) it was so light & fresh. I feel full but not icky full.
HIGHLY RECOMMEND TRYING!

My Little Defense Attorney

Cory's class did a play based on the movie Titanic (if there ever was a book written...I wouldn't know, ha ha). He played the role of the Defense Attorney and he did a great job! Even did it with a little accent! So cute! His class did a great job playing their roles and adding in their own little funny moments!

I had to take a picture of what I had to walk out of the school with....awkward! ha ha!
(Cory had to take these for his play)

Crazy Socks!

Today was crazy sock day for Caiti!

Just a Tip

One very annoying thing I have come to have a huge dislike towards in this house is the hard water. For whatever reason I can deal with it drying out my skin, it's nothing a little lotion won't take care of. However, when I put dishes in the dishwasher to get clean and they come out covered in a nasty while film, that is when I have issues! So today I looked up how to get rid of that film and a girl suggested Vinegar. So I tried it...put about a cup of vinegar at the bottom of my dishwasher, ran it like normal (no soap) and the result was just what I was hoping for! I think the dishes came out cleaner than they do with dishwashing soap!

Hmmm....no more buying dishwasher soap??
