ChaChing!!!

Finally, a night out!! Ladies night...just the cure I needed after dealing with two little rugrats with no break for some time now!!! My mom and I decided to leave the kids at home with my dad so we could have a few hours of fun. We went to Mystic Lake Casino. I'm so thankful to be here with my parents so I can have some "Cindy-time". This won't be the last!!

Digging, Swinging and Sliding

Today the kids and I decided to go waste a little energy at the park. Cory asked if he could go to the skatepark and Caitlyn wanted to go to "play" park...that's what she calls any park that has swings, LOL!! Cory had his turn first. We didn't stay at the skatepark too long because the big guys were there and Cory really had nowhere to skate because they obviously just dominate the ramps. So once Cory decided he was done Caitlyn asked..."is it time for playpark??" I told her yes and we headed over to the play area. It was very humid out today so we didn't stay too long. I forgot how yucky that can feel!!

Not Quite VanGogh

The kids were bugging me to play with them so I decided to get out the chalk and we could do some art together! We each did our own little pieces of art and then did one for Daddy.

Tropics Pool

We finally got around to making our way down to the community pool today. It's an indoor pool so you don't have to worry about burning and if it's snowing you can still swim, LOL!! It's a lot of fun for the kids. They have a lot of activities in the pool so it's not just swimming around, as if that's not fun enough!! There is a big waterslide inside which goes from in the pool area to outside the building. I've been on it once before and it's pretty scary just for me! Then again, I'm a wuss!! There is also a baby pool that has a mini waterslide and a sprinkler type fountain in the middle. We had a lot of fun today!!

Nickelodeon Park

After Church today we headed over to the Mall of America for some lunch. After about 20 minutes of begging from the kids we took them over to the new Nickelodeon Park inside the mall. For those who don't know, the Mall of America has a huge amusement park inside the mall. The kids just love it there. I just wish I could leave them in the amusement area and have my time shopping in the mall, LOL!!
