Jason doesn't typically surprise me but somehow he knows just when I need a little something to brighten my day. Today was a rough day for me dealing with the beauty of Naval medicine. After an ordeal with the doctor I went and picked the kids up from my friends house and when I came around the corner I ran straight into a beautiful bouquet of flowers!! My other friend was standing there holding them and said they had been delivered while I was up at the hospital so she took them in her house so they wouldn't get ruined (what a sweetheart!). All the stress and frustration I had been feeling went right out the window. I know I had a huge smile go across my face! It was just what I needed.

Sounds of Freedom
Featuring Pat Green!
Okay, so we weren't quite sure as to who Pat Green was or what songs he sang but we had a blast, nevertheless!! Me and some friends decided we'd take the kids and head out to Victory Field for a fun filled night with free music and entertainment!
Enjoy the pics!

Visiting Friends
One of my best friends lives about 2 1/2 hours away from us up here in the desert and she has the luxury of living very close to the beach so I had decided that since I had not seen her in a while and she just had a beautiful baby girl that it was time to make a trip down to visit her and the rest of her family. We decided to make it a beach day because of course we can't pass that up after being in the desert for so long! After the beach we had a BBQ with a few of their other friends. It was so nice to be able to spend some time with her, meet her lovely little babygirl and see the rest of her family. I just wish the day could have been longer!
Here are pictures from our day at the beach...

My best friend, Jessica and her daughter, CadenceThey also live very close to the house I was pregnant with Cory in, our first home as a family of 3. I took Cory to see it and it brought back so many memories!!
