OCS Family Day

This picture right here shows exactly how I saw Jay the entire time at Family Day...
Being the company Gunny, Jay was in charge of putting together this OCS Family Day. He had help from a wonderful man named, Pete who works with MCCS. Together they put together a very fun day for the families of OCS. There was a lot to do. Even though some activities had to be cancelled the day was still great!! I was very proud of Jason!

Here is Cory, Gracie, Maddie and Caiti on the train ride!
Then they went on the blow-up obstacle course.

Then Cory decided to participate in a "mud run". It was about 1.5 miles (don't think Cory realized how far that was, lol). Here he is just before they started...
....looking confident!
And then he stopped dead in his tracks right here!
Cory was unsure about how deep the water was so this nice kid helped take him across...
He made it!!
Me and Jeannie, my partner in crime for the day! LOL!!
Those who know this little man right here
know that he is into guns! So when Daddy told
him there were weapons on display Cory became
very excited!!! We took him over there and ended
up leaving him there, lol!! He probably drowned
the poor marine standing there with questions!!!

All in all the day was very enjoyable!! Great job, Jay!!!

Under the Big Top!

This was the first circus our family attended as a whole! I have taken the kids to maybe two and Daddy was never able to join us. So when Jeannie invited us to go to the circus I was so excited because Jay is here and would be able to go. Now, he barely made it but he got there just in time and watched the entire show with us!! We had just as much fun as the kids did!! Here are some pictures from the night....This was the biggest circus we have been to. They had so much to see! They had camels, elephants, dogs and mules. Hiwire walking, motorcycle tricks, a man being shot out of a canon, girls hanging by their hair and girls twirling on fabric and much much more!! Jason said this was an amazing circus and he's glad we all went...that made me so happy!!

This is the man that was shot out of the canon. If you look at the photos below you'll see him shooting across the circus tent. He is the yellow blur...LOL!!

Thank you Jeannie and Rob for inviting us. We really enjoyed the night and the circus was a blast!!
