All Good Things...

...must come to an end. Our summer vacation here in Minnesota is just about over. Tomorrow evening my friend Jenny will be here with her kids and come Friday morning the Evans and Johnson clan will be heading back to 29 Palms!

I have had such an amazing time here with my parents. Being able to spend all this uninterrupted time with my children. Watching them become so close because there was nobody around to disrupt that has been fun. Spending all this time with my parents was such a blessing! I've kind of forgotten what it's like to have someone walk thru the door at the end of the day and have dinner with me and the kids!! My parents sacrificed a lot with us being here!! My dad gave up his clean and organized home and my mom gave up her early bedtime! LOL!! The kids had such a blast driving them crazy but I know my parents wouldn't have traded this time for anything, nor would I!!!

I'm excited to see my friends back in California. I'm super excited for Cory to begin school!! Getting back into our schedule is what we need. The kids have had a busy summer and have forgotten all about their responsibilities at home! It's time to get back and get back on track!! LOL!!

Mom, Dad...I will miss you very much and I know the kids will miss you very much as well! Thank you so much for opening your home to us and letting us tear it apart, LOL!! Can't wait to visit again!!

Christy, Jaxon and Madison...I'm so glad you were able to come and join us for a little part of our summer vacation! We had so much fun playing with you. Next, you need to come visit us in California for our trip to Disney!!

We are now half way thru this deployment! Our summer vacation may be ending but soon we will start preparing for our hero to come home!!!
