Today was a very special day for Jason. He has worked very hard throughout his career and has finally taken another climb up the ladder of success!! He was promoted today to GunnerySergeant (GySgt.) and we are so proud of him!! This is all he's talked about this past year and the day finally came!!
I first got word that Jason was selected for the promotion on my drive out to Minnesota. We thought it was going to be a longer wait than it actually was. Unfortunately, the kids and I were not able to be a part of the ceremony due to obvious circumstances! But we will definitely have a celebration for our new Gunny when he gets home!
