Thanks be to Him

We have had many wonderful Thanksgivings together as a family but this is another occasion that is more than a holiday that comes every year. With Jay's deployment and the many uncertanties it brought we thought we would be spending Thanksgiving apart. All thanks to God, we were able to be together for Thanksgiving. The main thing I think our whole family was thankful for. However, my best friends husband was not able to be home for Thanksgiving so we thought it'd be nice to spend the holiday together with her and her children along with another wonderful friend of ours, whose husband was gone as well. Jason was the outcast for the night, hahaha!! The night turned out wonderful as expected. We had some very yummy turkey and lots of delicious sides to go with it. After dinner at Jenny's house we all headed back to our home for dessert. Jenny and the kids stayed the night so us moms could have a Black Friday adventure and Jay could play mom (to 5 kids) for a morning. Lucky for him, they didn't wake up till we got home!!
