Yet another week has passed and it's time for our updates...
1. Jason went back to work for his last week with 2/7. Mainly just to check out of the unit so he won't be doing much. He will actually be back on leave next week and won't finish that until we get to Virginia! I remember when we first checked in on this base and now we're ready to close this chapter. 3 years just doesn't seem as long anymore!
2. We had our pre-inspection for the house yesterday. It went way better than we thought and much quicker than we thought too! Half the stuff we thought we'd have to do, we don't! The entire cleaning process doesn't seem so bad now.
3. Cory had another basketball game last night and played well. He had it a little rough because the other team realized that Cory and Gage were making all the shots so they pressed the both of them pretty good! Cory's friend played on the other team and even though we won Cory still made it a point to talk about how well his friend on that team played. We try to teach him to be humble and I really think he gets it!
4. As you may have read in a previous blog...Caitlyn has now changed her name to Caiti and she is now referring to herself as a "bad girl" because she is "pretty". I must say that has me very worried, haha! I explained to her that a bad girl isn't something she wants to be. She didn't really get why and I will continue to explain to her but she is just all about being Miss Fabulous and sometimes she can be a bit snobbish, ha! She really has her own unique personality...Jay and I are in for it!!
5. I played a joke on Jason this past weekend during our garage sale. He did not wake up in time to help me out so I wrote 4 Sale on his car and let it sit out there during the garage sale!! Well, apparently a couple people took interest to those words on his car. We actually have someone that is coming to look at it today. I am not sure what will happen but please pray that all goes well. It would be really nice to be able to sell it and not have to tow it cross country (only to turn around and sell it or trade it in). Jay is going to need something a little more tough out there for some of the weather we'll get in Viriginia. His low profile car won't last too long out there. Even though it was a complete joke...everything does happen for a reason and maybe it's all part of God's plan!!
Well, that's it for this week. Stay tuned...
