Our kids love the beach! Even though they've only been a handful of times they ask to go ALL the time and when we do go they always have so much fun!! Jay and I planned a day for the kids to be able to enjoy some fun in the sun and sand! We took them over to the beach not far from Grandma and Papa's house. As soon as we got there they took off into the water. Caiti searched for seashells and Cory splashed and jumped the waves as they came rolling in. Jay and I just watched. It was fun!!

About an hour or so into our day the creatures started to make themselves known! The water was really warm which causes them to come closer to shore and boy did we see some pretty big ones!! First we saw a Manta-Ray. Biggest one I think I've ever seen!!! It just cruised the water right in front of us! Then came two small sharks that actually came very close to the shoreline. They just swam right by and nobody paid any mind...except me of course, lol!! Then a guy came running out of the water because he just got bumped by something. We saw a dark shadow cruise thru the water right in front of us. It was between 5 to 6 ft. long. Apparently it was some type of shark. It bumped into another family and kept on swimming. Pretty crazy!!! I had had enough when a very large school of fish swam right between my legs...however, the kids still wanted to play in the water...
